Regent’s Canal & Dock Co., 3% Debenture stock, 1914, scrollwork at left, green, counterfoil re-attached, punch cancelled, very fine. The company was formed to construct the Regent’s Canal Dock, known as the Limehouse basin, to connect the Midlands with the City of London. It enabled barges to travel between the canal system and the Thames through a system of locks.
