Northern Counties Union Railway Company, 1 share, 18[46], black, EF.
An amalgamation of the Yorkshire and Glasgow Union, and the York and Carlisle Railways. New lines running over 100 miles between the Great North of England and the Lancaster and Carlisle Railways, and a branch from the latter railway to Bishop Auckland were planned but never built.
