Philip Mead Bat Co. Ltd., £50 Debenture, 19[23], large format, black, very fine. Philip Mead was a successful left handed batsman during the first part of the 20th century. He toured Australia in 1911/12 and South Africa in 1913/14. Between 1922 and 28 he was one of the top batsmen in county cricket.
