Barrauds, Ltd., £50 ‘A’ Debenture, an issue of only 100, 1891, large format, black, good very fine. Herbert Rose Barraud was a renowned portrait photographer with studios in London and Liverpool. He produced portraits for the aristocracy and statemen of the time, some of which were published in a 2 volume work ‘Men and Women of the Day, 1888-89’.
