Consolidated Land Company of France, £10 shares, 1867, signed Albert Grant

£65.00

Description

Consolidated Land Company of France, £10 shares, 1867, signed Albert Grant, very fine and rare with this signature. Albert Grant was an infamous company promoter whose story can be found on the internet. He gave Leicester Fields to London and a statue of him still stands in Leicester Square. He became a bankrupt whilst his enormous house was being built in Kensington Gardens. It was dismantled and the staircase now adorns Madame Tussauds.   This image is from our archive, you may receive a different serial number, but the same condition.
