Southern Railway Co., 5% guaranteed preference stock, 19[24], scrollwork at left, blue-grey, Waterlow printing, good very fine.

Incorporated in 1922, the smallest of the ‘Big Four’ railway companies. It included three main companies; the London and South Western; the London, Brighton and South Coast; and the South Eastern and Chatham Railways, along with many smaller lines.
